Na’im Lynn has a pretty unique take on holiday gifting. The comedian shared that he doesn’t believe in buying gifts or sending cards to his friends during the holiday season, calling it “weird.” He made it clear that there are no cards for best friends in stores—only for family members, loved ones, and even “secretary” cards—but nothing for “homies.”
Na’im finds the idea of a friend card “inappropriate” and thinks Hallmark should steer clear of trying to make it a thing. Instead, he advises showing affection to friends in other ways, like picking up the tab or spending quality time together.
However, there’s one notable exception to his no-gift rule: Kevin Hart. Na’im admitted to buying Kevin a gift after they finished a tour together, explaining it was a special situation where he felt compelled to show his appreciation for his best friend. Looks like Kevin gets a pass from Na’im’s usual gifting rule!
