Kim Kardashian’s sultry cover of “Santa Baby” is finally available! The 44-year-old star of All’s Fair recorded the track during a season three episode of The Kardashians, which aired last year. Produced by her brother-in-law Travis Barker, the song was released through his DTA Records and Kim’s Kimsaprincess, Inc.
Accompanying the track is a visually striking music video, which has sparked mixed reactions from fans. Directed by Nadia Lee Cohen and Charlie Denis, the video showcases a blonde Kim crawling through different rooms of a house, with a series of intriguing and surreal scenarios. The highlight is a cameo by Macaulay Culkin, who appears as a man dressed in a Santa suit filming with a camcorder. In a playful twist, he moves the camera to reveal himself at the end.
Fan responses to the video have ranged from amused to bewildered. TV host AJ Gibson called it “unhinged,” while others described it as a “fever dream” and compared it to American Horror Story, a show both Kim and Macaulay have previously starred in.
