Prime Video is developing a new F1 drama series titled One, starring and executive produced by Academy Award nominee Felicity Jones. This marks Formula 1’s first officially sanctioned scripted series, currently in development.
The show will center around a failing, family-owned racing team, led by Jones’ character, as it faces fierce competition, complex personalities, and high-stakes challenges. Oscar-nominated writers Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby are set to write and executive produce the series.
While it’s unclear if One will align with race weekends, similar to Brad Pitt’s F1 movie, the project promises to bring thrilling drama to the world of motorsports.
In other news, Felicity Jones has been nominated for Best Supporting Female Actor, Film, at the 2025 Golden Globes for her performance in The Brutalist, which is also nominated for Best Motion Picture, Drama, among other accolades.
