Funky Dineva’s “Down To The Bar Christmas” party was a heartwarming success, blending holiday cheer with a powerful cause. Held at Pretti Plates Brunch Bar, the event served as a holiday toy drive benefiting foster children across Georgia, in partnership with the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS). The event, aptly named “A Funky Good Christmas,” was a festive celebration with a deeper purpose, raising over 600 donated gifts and monetary contributions for bicycles to ensure that foster kids could experience the magic of Christmas.
Collaborating with Tanya Chavis, owner of Pretti Plates, and his loyal fan base, The Funky Bunch, Funky Dineva turned the party into a meaningful opportunity to spread joy. Funky Dineva expressed the significance of the event, emphasizing the importance of providing children with moments of happiness, especially in challenging times. He also highlighted the event’s role in bringing people together across different backgrounds to network and support one another.
Guests enjoyed a curated menu of cocktails and finger foods catered by Pretti Plates, creating a festive and delicious atmosphere. The event was also supported by celebrity influencers Oliver Twixt and Tezlyn Figaro, who joined Funky Dineva in spreading joy and creating a fun, supportive space for foster kids to feel seen and celebrated.
Looking ahead, Funky Dineva expressed his excitement to make this an annual event, hoping to grow the initiative even further. The night was a funky, fabulous celebration of community, compassion, and the spirit of giving.
