Exciting news for Demon Slayer fans! Crunchyroll has revealed a stunning new visual for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, the first film in a trilogy set to hit theaters globally in 2025. The visual debuted at the 2024 Comic Con Experience in São Paulo (CCXP) on December 8, where Japanese voice actors Takahiro Sakurai (Giyu Tomioka) and Kengo Kawanishi (Muichiro Tokito), along with Brazilian voice actor Daniel Figueira (Tanjiro Kamado), gave fans an exclusive sneak peek.
The film will feature the iconic Infinity Castle, setting the stage for the intense final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demonic leader Muzan Kibutsuji. Infinity Castle marks the beginning of the final arc of the Demon Slayer story, and fans can expect the thrilling conclusion to the saga unfold on the big screen.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle will be distributed globally by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment (except for selected Asian markets), though specific release dates have yet to be announced.
Based on the wildly popular manga by Koyoharu Gotoge, Demon Slayer follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is slaughtered by a demon, as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps to save his sister, Nezuko, who has been transformed into a demon.
Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, the franchise’s previous movie, currently holds the record as the highest-grossing anime movie of all time, earning over $500 million globally. The anime continues to captivate audiences worldwide, with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
This trilogy promises to be a spectacular and emotional conclusion to one of the most beloved anime series!
