The UK premiere of Moana 2 took place today at Cineworld Leicester Square in London, with stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Auli’i Cravalho walking the red carpet together. The event on Sunday (November 24) was a major celebration for the sequel to the beloved 2016 Disney film.
In Moana 2, Dwayne Johnson reprises his role as the demigod Maui, while Auli’i Cravalho returns as Moana. The film follows the pair three years after their original adventure as they embark on a new, expansive voyage. Moana is called upon by her ancestors to journey into dangerous, uncharted waters with a crew of unlikely seafarers.
The film is set to hit theaters on November 27, and early buzz suggests it will be one of the year’s biggest releases. For the premiere, Auli’i looked stunning in an Oscar de la Renta dress paired with Christian Louboutin shoes, and jewelry from Graziela, Tiffany, and Effy.
