Flavor Flav knows how important it is to keep your mental health in check, so he’s making sure all of his fans have access to resources that are so important in today’s day and age.
The hip-hop legend has teamed up with the innovative new app Sonia to offer fans free AI therapy to mark World Mental Health Day. Sonia is an AI therapy app founded by AI researchers from MIT that offers 20-minute voice-based therapy sessions directly on your phone, whenever and wherever.
Flav, who is celebrating his four-year sobriety anniversary next week, says that his mental health has been a key factor to staying sober.
“October is an important month for my mental health. Next week, I am 4 years sober from alcohol. And today, is mental health awareness day. My mental health is an important part of my sobriety journey,” Flav wrote on Instagram. “I talk to a therapist. In fact, I talk to two. I gots a crazy schedule and travels, my manager recommended trying out Sonia – an AI therapist that has been there for me like Janet Jackson says – Any Time Any Place.”
