Prior to the Australian Football League performance, Katy sat down for the media call at Melbourne Cricket Ground on September 26.
“That’s what’s going to be the most exciting [thing] to hear, 100,000 people singing all the songs at the top of their lungs,” she told ABC News Breakfast.
“Especially footy guys singing ‘Firework,’ that’s what I’m here for. I know that the performances for the show have just kind of started happening in the past few years, so I’m really excited to take it up a notch,” she added.
She recently debuted at No. 6 with her new album 143 on the Billboard 200. Listen to it here!
