Some fans think that Camila Cabello threw shade at Sabrina Carpenter during a recent performance, and it’s escalating rumors of a feud between the two pop stars.
If you were unaware, fans have been speculating that songs on Sabrina‘s new album Short n’ Sweet are about Camila‘s relationship with Shawn Mendes. The “Espresso” hitmaker was briefly linked to Shawn while he was broken up with Camila, and then the “Senorita” exes rekindled their relationship before splitting again last year.
As a result, fans theorized that songs like “Taste” are about the former couple.
So far, none of the parties involved have directly responded to the whispers about bad blood. However, now some are convinced that Camila subtly dissed Sabrina while performing at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival over the weekend.

At the festival, Camila performed “Senorita,” her chart-topping duet with Shawn. A video circulating on TikTok shows that she pointedly skipped singing the word “taste” in the lyric “You say we’re just friends / But friends don’t know the way you…”
Some in the comments section were quick to say that Camila was getting shady by skipping the word, which is the title of one of Sabrina‘s new songs.
Others pointed out that everyone involved is “so messy.”
“This was [what] pop used to be about we’re so back,” one commenter added.
If you missed it, one of Camila‘s newly released songs featured a pointed message.
She also threw some shade at pop stars shortly after Shawn dropped new music.
