David Henrie sparked rumors about a werewolf coming back to Waverly Place, and now he’s clearing the air.
The 35-year-old actor is set to reprise the role of Justin Russo alongside costar Selena Gomez in the new Wizards of Waverly Place spinoff Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.
Earlier this week, he shared a few photos of former costar Gregg Sulkin visiting set, making fans wonder if he planning on appearing in the show as Mason Greyback again. If you forgot, Mason was Selena‘s onscreen love interest in the original series.
Is he going to make a cameo? David weighed in on the possibility.

David shared the photos on his Instagram account, captioning the post, “Guess who visited settttttttttt 🐺? The one and only @greggsulkin.”
On X (formerly Twitter), David responded to a fan who wanted to know if Gregg “visited set or filmed on set.” He replied, saying “visiting!”
By the looks of it, Gregg won’t be appearing on the show now. But who knows what the future holds?
