Joey King and Hunter King are making a difference in the wake of the Los Angeles fires. On January 13, the actress sisters volunteered at the LA Dream Center, a key organization involved in fire recovery efforts. Along with Hunter’s fiancé Chris Copier and Joey’s director friend Becca Gleason, they visited a local CVS to pick up supplies, which they then delivered to the Dream Center. At the center, they helped sort and distribute the donated goods.
The LA Dream Center is requesting essential items for fire victims, including socks, underwear, toilet paper, air purifiers, canned goods, snacks, to-go containers, and protective gear like work gloves and safety glasses.
Joey took to Instagram to encourage others to volunteer, sharing her experience and mentioning how much soap and Cheez-Its they had seen at the center. She also highlighted that the Dream Center needs volunteers throughout the week, urging people to help if they can.
