Chuck Zito, the famed Hells Angels biker and Sons of Anarchy actor, has been cleared of charges related to his November arrest in The Bronx for allegedly driving with a fake license plate. Zito told reporters the case was baseless, claiming the Florida dealer plate on his 1968 Chevelle SS was legitimate.
After spending 10 hours in jail and having his car towed, Zito maintains the arrest was unnecessary. Although the Bronx District Attorney dropped the misdemeanor charge of possessing a forged license plate, Zito says the incident left a bad taste, especially since the police still have his license plate.
When asked about next steps, Zito hinted at possible legal action against the NYPD, emphasizing his frustration with how the situation was handled.
