Gerard Butler’s experience filming Den of Thieves 2: Pantera certainly wasn’t easy. In a recent interview, the 55-year-old actor shared that he was dealing with a major injury during the filming process. Before he started on the movie, Gerard had undergone an intense surgery, only to tear his ACL about a month later. Despite this, he didn’t have the chance to get the necessary surgery on his ACL before beginning the physical film.
Gerard humorously reflected on the challenging situation, admitting that he wasn’t in the best shape for the role. The movie was physically demanding, and he had to work through the pain of his injury. He lightheartedly joked about the experience, calling it a “nightmare” and admitting that he was a “whiny little b-tch” during the process.
It’s a testament to his dedication and commitment to the role that he pushed through despite these significant obstacles. Even with the tough conditions, it’s clear that Gerard gave it his all while filming the movie.
