Lily Allen opened up about her struggles in the latest episode of her Miss Me? podcast, addressing rumors surrounding her marriage to David Harbour. The 39-year-old musician revealed that she’s been finding it difficult to focus on anything, admitting that her mental health has been spiraling for months. “I’m finding it really hard to be interested in anything,” she shared, acknowledging that her emotional state has been overwhelming.
Lily went on to explain that her struggles have led her to leave events early, due to panic attacks or exhaustion. “I can’t concentrate on anything except the pain that I’m going through,” she continued. In light of these challenges, she announced a hiatus from the podcast, assuring her listeners that she is not entering drug rehab, despite rumors. “I’ve not relapsed,” she clarified, addressing false online rumors about her being found in a crack den by her husband.
The singer also spoke about how her mental health has impacted her eating habits, revealing that she’s been experiencing a disconnection between her body and mind, which has affected her ability to eat properly. “I’m not eating, but I’m not hungry,” she explained, describing how her body’s signals are not reaching her brain.
Lily shares two daughters, Ethel (13) and Marnie (11), with her ex-husband Sam Cooper.
