Kayla Nicole, influencer and former girlfriend of NFL star Travis Kelce, has been candid about the challenges of enduring public scrutiny since their breakup, particularly as Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift has thrust her into the spotlight. On Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, Kayla shared her experiences of being targeted by online harassment, noting that much of the backlash stems from Kelce dating “a mega superstar.”
“Going through a public breakup… it’s been overwhelming. I’ve never experienced anything like it,” she admitted during a confessional. Although she didn’t explicitly name Swift’s fans, the timing of her comments — coinciding with the release of Swift’s Tortured Poets Department album — has led many to assume her remarks were directed at the Swifties.
Despite the online tension, Kayla made it clear that she holds no ill will toward Taylor, even praising the singer. “I really, like, like her. I think that she’s very talented,” she said, a sentiment that may surprise some Swift fans.
