Elijah Wood has seemingly confirmed his marriage to longtime partner Mette-Marie Kongsved during an appearance on the Inside of You podcast with Michael Rosenbaum. Referring to her as his “wife,” Wood expressed gratitude for his family, solidifying earlier reports of a New Year’s Eve wedding.
The notoriously private couple, who have been together since 2018, share two children—a son and a daughter. According to witnesses, the wedding took place in Sweden, described as an intimate ceremony attended by around 80 close friends and family members.
Wood was seen wearing a “Dad” ring on his middle finger during the podcast, further emphasizing his joy in his family life. While his reps have yet to officially confirm the marriage, this latest revelation seems to seal the deal for fans.
