Nikki Glaser had a successful hosting debut at the 2025 Golden Globes, and it looks like she’ll be back to host again in 2026. According to a report from Deadline, Glaser was paid just over $400,000 for her first Golden Globes hosting gig, with her fee expected to rise significantly if she returns to host the 2026 ceremony.
Glaser signed a three-year deal in 2024 to host the Golden Globes, and she hinted at a pay raise and her return for the 2026 event during an interview with Howard Stern. She mentioned that while she earned less than past host Jerrod Carmichael, who revealed he was paid $500,000 for his 2023 hosting gig, she’s still happy with her pay and anticipates more for next year.
The production team made a big investment in Glaser, with a larger-than-usual joke writing team and an upgraded wardrobe, according to an insider. The report suggests the investment in Glaser as a long-term solo host worked out well for the show.
