Jennifer Aniston is challenging the fitness mantra “no pain, no gain” as she reflects on her health and fitness journey. In an interview with People, the 55-year-old Friends star dismissed the notion that effective workouts must be grueling or painful, asserting, “You can actually have gain with no pain.”
Aniston shared insights from years of experimenting with different fitness routines, revealing that she used to believe she needed to push herself relentlessly. “I always had the message in my brain: ‘You gotta do 45 minutes of cardio, then floor work and then weights,’” she explained. However, she’s since discovered low-impact workouts that have transformed her body without straining it. “You can enjoy your workout, not break your body, and have an incredible transformation,” she emphasized.
When asked about her resolutions for 2025, Aniston admitted she doesn’t set any. “I don’t want to let myself down. I don’t want to fail at that,” she said, preferring to avoid the pressure of rigid goals.
The actress’s candid approach to wellness offers a refreshing perspective for those seeking balance between fitness and self-care.
