Disney is adding even more magic to their parks and cruises with the debut of Bluey and Bingo, the beloved characters from the Emmy-winning animated series. Starting in January 2025, Bluey and her younger sister Bingo will make appearances at Disney Cruise Line voyages departing from Australia and New Zealand. These appearances will include fun, interactive activities such as meet-and-greets, a clue-filled game, and a lively dance party where families can join in on Bluey’s signature dance moves.
In addition to the cruise appearances, fans will also have the opportunity to meet Bluey and her family at Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida. Specific locations for these meet-and-greets will be announced at a later date.
This exciting news comes on the heels of another Bluey-related announcement: an animated feature film is currently in development and is set to release in theaters in 2027, followed by streaming on Disney+. Creator Joe Brumm expressed his excitement about working with a longer format and the natural progression of turning the show into a movie.
Since Bluey debuted on Disney Junior and Disney+, the show has become a global sensation, known for its heartfelt stories that unite families through play, imagination, and connection. Disney and BBC Studios are collaborating to bring the Bluey magic to the big screen, creating a new experience for families to enjoy together.
