Megan Thee Stallion has filed a new request for a restraining order against Tory Lanez, alleging that he continues to harass her despite being incarcerated. Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence in California for shooting at Megan’s feet in 2020, but she claims that his harassment has persisted through third parties, including bloggers.
In her filing, Megan points to evidence from prison phone call logs that suggest a “conspiratorial relationship” between Tory and Elizabeth Milagro Cooper, a woman Megan previously sued for spreading defamatory statements about her. Megan claims the calls reveal a conversation between Tory and his father, during which they discussed payments to Cooper for her involvement in the harassment.
Megan describes this ongoing “psychological warfare” as deeply damaging to her, contributing to severe depression and estrangement from friends. She shares that the emotional toll has been so heavy that she sometimes wishes she had died during the shooting, rather than enduring the continued abuse.
Megan is asking the court to issue a restraining order that would prohibit Tory from contacting or harassing her, directly or through intermediaries. Tory Lanez is currently appealing his conviction, and Megan believes that his false claims about her are part of his efforts to influence the outcome of his appeal.
