Nicole Kidman was honored with the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Gala on December 4, 2024, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. The Oscar-winning actress was introduced by her Big Little Lies co-star, Laura Dern.
During her emotional speech, Nicole shared a deeply personal moment, recounting how her 13-year-old daughter, Faith, had comforted her the night before when she was upset over the recent death of her mother. Nicole explained that after attending Faith’s choir concert, she traveled with her daughter and broke down in tears upon reflecting on the loss. However, Faith provided support, telling her mother, “It’s OK, mama. You’re going to be OK,” and played a guiding role in helping Nicole through her grief.
Nicole expressed that while she no longer has her own mother, she finds strength in her daughters, with Faith acting as her mentor during this challenging time. Nicole’s heartfelt words highlighted the powerful bond she shares with her children.
In addition to this touching moment, it was recently revealed that Nicole’s 16-year-old daughter had made her runway debut at a fashion show, adding another exciting chapter to the Kidman family’s accomplishments.
