Demarcus Robinson, the NFL wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams, was arrested early Monday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) after allegedly speeding over 100 MPH on an L.A. freeway. According to law enforcement sources, Robinson was pulled over shortly after 5 AM, where officers noticed signs of impairment, leading to suspicions that he was under the influence of alcohol.
Robinson refused to undergo a field sobriety test and was arrested for misdemeanor DUI. He was transported to a station for processing and identified himself as an L.A. Rams player. After being cited, he was released to a responsible party. As of now, Robinson has not publicly commented on the incident, and the Rams have not yet issued a statement.
