Taylor Swift became visibly emotional during her Eras tour show at the Rogers Centre in Toronto on Saturday night, as she reflected on the journey of the tour coming to an end. After performing “Champagne Promises,” Taylor took a moment to express her gratitude to her band, production crew, and everyone who contributed to the success of the tour. As she thanked the team, she started to tear up, saying, “I don’t even know what I’m saying, I’m just having a bit of a moment, sorry.” She wiped away tears before continuing to speak fondly of her band and sharing how much she loved performing in Toronto.
The emotional moment came just a few days after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was spotted at her show on Friday night, where he joined the crowd and showed off his dance moves.
Having already completed over 150 performances across five continents, Taylor’s Eras tour is winding down with just three final concerts remaining in Vancouver from December 6-8.
