Chrishell Stause is commenting on some of the feedback on season eight of Selling Sunset.
The 43-year-old actress and real estate agent made an appearance on Australian podcast Smallzy’s Surgery, where she was asked about the criticisms of the cast’s fashion choices on the show, mainly the controversial look Chelsea Lazkani wore to an open house that had everyone talking.
She also confirmed if she would return for season nine or not, after slamming production and seemingly indicating she would not be back if Nicole Young was returning.

During NOVA’s Smallzy’s Surgery, Chrishell agreed that Chelsea‘s outfit was not open house appropriate.
“Sometimes when it comes to those critiques, I can’t really say anything here because do I think it’s open house appropriate? No,” she said. “But also we’re filming a TV show guys. it became a funny storyline, like, who cares if someone doesn’t like my dress. I’d rather that than them try to destroy my family… I say, the sillier, the better, because it gives us something to fight about that actually doesn’t have any high stakes.”
Now, as for whether she would be returning for season nine…
Previously, after season eight debuted, Chrishell posted on Instagram story among a rant, “Someone needs to take my phone [because] 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. Are we really still giving air time to LIARS that just want air time?? I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued.”
When asked if she was returning, she told Smallzy, “Am I allowed to say… I mean… yes.”
One of Chrishell‘s co-stars recently revealed they nearly quit the show a couple seasons ago.
