T.I. is the latest celebrity to share they’re retiring from performing!
The 44-year-old rapped announced that he will no longer be hitting the stage during a recent appearance on radio show 96.1 The Beat’s Rari at 2.
On the show, he revealed that a scheduled upcoming performance would be his last and he also shared why he won’t be performing anymore.

“I appreciate y’all for offering me my last working gig because I do not need the money anymore and I will not be performing,” he said, via Billboard, of the radio station’s upcoming holiday concert. “I don’t want to do it anymore. … I don’t want people to pay me to hop around and sweat for their entertainment anymore.”
If he would pick up the phone for other upcoming gigs, T.I. said, “Of course, I’m going to answer the phone to tell them that I will not be performing.”
While he is essentially retiring, the rapper says he will perform again, but only his own terms.
T.I.‘s last gig will be on December 19th at the 93.1 The Beat’s Jingle Ball show in Atlanta, which will also feature Tinashe, Sexyy Red, T-Pain, Saweetie, Khalid and The Kid LAROI.
