Anna Kendrick is ready for the world to see her new movie Woman of the Hour!
The 39-year-old actress makes her directorial debut with the new Netflix crime thriller and she also plays the lead role of Cheryl Bradshaw.
Anna was joined by co-stars Kathryn Gallagher, Nicolette Robinson, Autumn Best, and Kelley Jakle on the red carpet at the L.A. premiere on Thursday (October 10) at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
Also in attendance were co-stars Daniel Zovatto, Tony Hale, and Jedidiah Goodacre.
Chrissie Fit, who appeared in the Pitch Perfect movies with Anna and Kelley, stepped out to show her support!
Here’s the synopsis from Netflix: “The stranger-than-fiction story of an aspiring actress in 1970s Los Angeles and a serial killer in the midst of a yearslong murder spree, whose lives intersect when they’re cast on an episode of The Dating Game.”
Inspired by the real life story of Cheryl Bradshaw and infamous serial killer Rodney Alcala, Woman of the Hour takes a headline from the seventies and expands on the narrative as well as how this could help future potential victims in similar situations.
