Meghan Markle is here to support a great cause!
The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles 2024 Gala on Saturday (October 5) at L.A. Live Event Deck Top Floor Of The West Lot in Los Angeles.
The event takes place every two years and pays tribute to CHLA’s patients and hospital pediatric workers, which include some of California’s best physicians, researchers and caregivers, via the official website.
Meghan wore a red Carolina Herrera gown, which she previously wore to the 2021 Salute to Freedom gala in New York City.
She posed on the red carpet alongside Alliance of Moms founder Kelly Mckee Zajfen.
Meghan also took photos with a family whose children are patients at the hospital, as well as chatting up nurses inside the event and taking selfies.
Husband Prince Harry was not in attendance, as he is visiting the African Kingdom of Lesotho this week. He is there to discuss the HIV/AIDS crisis in Southern Africa as part of his charity, Sentebale, via People.
