Taking place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Atlanta’s Piedmont Park, this event is a major fundraiser aimed at raising awareness and funds in the fight against HIV/AIDS. This is Lil’ Kim’s second collaboration with AHF, having previously headlined the 2021 Florida AIDS Walk and Music Festival. The star-studded festival, known for attracting big names, has seen past performances from artists such as Ashanti, Ludacris, and Monica.
Organized by AHF, the world’s largest nonprofit HIV/AIDS healthcare organization, the event raises more than $1 million annually for 13 local HIV/AIDS service organizations. This year’s benefitting organizations include A Vision For Hope, AID Atlanta, Positive Impact Health Centers, and many more. The festival serves as both an awareness platform and a community event.
“This annual event offers a time to create greater awareness of the impact of HIV and AIDS on the local Atlanta community,” said Dr. Felicia Ivey, AHF’s Atlanta regional director. The event also brings together thousands of participants to support organizations focused on education, prevention, and healthcare services for those affected by HIV/AIDS.
