The 54-year-old former first lady took to social media on Wednesday (September 18) to reflect on her career in the industry, where she participated in nude photoshoots.
As she prepares for the release of her self-titled memoir, she explained the decision and why she doesn’t feel shame about those photos now.

In the video, which she shared on X (formerly Twitter), Melania shared photos of classic nude art, such as Michelangelo’s statue of David.
“Why do I stand proudly behind my nude modeling career? The more pressing question is why has the media chosen to scrutinize my celebration of the human form in a fashion photoshoot,” she said. “Are we no longer able to appreciate the beauty of the human body? Throughout history, master artists have revered the human shape, evoking profound emotions and admiration. We should honor our bodies and embrace the timeless tradition of using art as a powerful means of self expression.”
